The first time I had a chiropractic treatment, I laughed. But before long the neck and back pain I had lived with for years was gone. That was 18 years ago. I have been studying or practicing chiropractic ever since.
In chiropractic college we were taught that the chiropractor does not heal, the chiropractor adjusts the spine to remove the blockages to normal nerve transmission. Nature does the healing.
My chiropractic treatments combine forceful and non-forceful techniques. The treatments are pain-free. In fact, once patients get used to their "adjustments," they look forward to them.
For pain control and rehabilitation, I use state-of-the art physiotherapy equipment. I draw from the natural healing sciences of homeopathy, acupuncture and nutritional supplements. Exercise, diet, lifestyle, stress and attitude are also considered and evaluated when I create a treatment program.
My practice is family oriented; I treat infants, senior citizens and all ages in between. Most patients come in with headaches, neck pain, back pain or other musculoskeletal complaints. I have also helped patients with asthma, chest pain, digestive disorders and other organ problems.
It is my philosophy that my practice really belongs to the patients. We go out of our way to create a caring, nurturing, healing environment. And although we take our work seriously, don't be surprised to hear patients laughing when you visit-it's allowed.
