Authors & Artists, located in a cozy, 100-year-old house that started life as a miner's shack, is packed floor to ceiling with something for every taste, occasion and budget. Enjoy a free cup of coffee, hot chocolate or tea and a munchie while you browse through seven rooms filled with books, antiques and the works of 73 Colorado artists and craftspeople.

Owner Shirley Bryant sells all regular-sized used paperbacks for $1.25 (including tax), discounts all used hardbacks, new fiction and non-fiction and stocks first editions, from $5 to $50, as well as rare, out-of-print and collectible books (explore our catalog, last updated August 19th).

She also stocks Victorian handmade dolls, candles, jewelry, etched and stained glass, Native American arts, needlework, toys, paintings, prints, cloth, leather, wood, glass and handmade paper items, pottery, photography, dried and silk floral arrangements, wood, stone and metal sculptures, locally made chocolate truffles, cards, Native American tapes, antique prints, jewelry and much more!

There's plenty of free parking, front and back. Look for the white house with art on the windows across Pearl Street from Mike's Camera parking lot. We have provided a small map.
